Emirates Inaugural Airbus A350 Preponed

We have reported on the multiple delays to the Emirates A350 service over the past months.

The new service was delayed 4 times due to delivery delays by Airbus which finally then had a scheduled date of 16th January 2025, operating on the route from Dubai to Edinburgh.

We had a glimpse of the aircraft as Emirates took delivery of the first A350 on 25 November 2024 which was good news for Emirates fans as they eagerly countdown to the inaugural flight.

Now, there is even better news as Emirates confirms that the A350 will debut earlier than the expected delayed flight. It will now fly on the Dubai to Edinburgh service on 3rd January 2025.

They also note that the A350 will be rolled out to 8 more confirmed destinations shortly after the service to Edinburgh, with more destinations to follow.
